Who We Are!
Farah Waqf is a family foundation established by Dr. Rahif Hakmi and his wife Farah Al-Zahrawi and their children, with the aim of providing support and assistance to communities, particularly in humanitarian, educational, and health fields.
This family foundation, managed by the members of the family through a trust, directs its resources to achieve specific goals aimed at making a positive impact on the lives of individuals and beneficiary communities.
The Farah Waqf Foundation is distinguished by its independence from external donations, relying instead on self-funding through the family’s assets. This grants it the ability to make independent decisions without being influenced by any external pressures. The foundation seeks to support humanitarian causes that are important to family members, such as helping refugees, providing education, supporting vulnerable groups in society, and providing emergency relief in difficult times.
The Farah Waqf Foundation focuses on providing long-term assistance and works to implement sustainable programs aimed at improving quality of life and providing economic and educational opportunities. This foundation works closely with local and international organizations to achieve its goals, but maintains its complete independence in setting its priorities and implementing its projects.
Additionally, the Farah Waqf aims to leave a positive legacy for future generations by investing its wealth in projects that sustainably impact communities. The foundation’s focus on family and ethical values, such as giving and equality, reflects the family’s commitment to achieving positive and tangible changes in the world.
Through this Waqf, the family demonstrates its deep commitment to humanitarian values and builds a unique model of charitable work that relies on independent management and active participation in improving the conditions of others.
